"Modern art isn't all bosh, is it?"

Conservatives can get pegged as anti-art, so I'm always happy when I can find a contemporary artist that I like.

When I was cataloguing books in the Yale library last summer I ran across Crimes of Perception, a book of photographs by Mac Adams. Unfortunately, it got stuck in the ninth circle of cataloguing Hell after I passed it on, and I haven't been able to find any of the photographs since. Until now.

Adams' site has a seventy-page PDF with all kinds of photo-goodies, but here are a few of my favorites:
